We certainly have been busy this week. The children are really enjoying our new Literacy centres, which focus on letters, alphabet sounds, rhyming and noticing print ("Write the room"). In addition to our Math Zones, these Literacy centres encourage the children to learn through play and to take ownership of their own learning. Check out their smiling faces as they're learning!
This week a HUGE box arrived from Scholastic... the puzzles I ordered arrived! The children love working together to build the puzzles. It's such a great opportunity for them to practice co-operation and problem-solving skills. They are getting so good at doing puzzles that I had to buy more difficult ones for them!
